Howdy Ya’ll. Well tomorrow marks week one as an Arbonne girl and I am SO happy I decided to throw all caution to the wind and jump in! I have learned SO much about myself and how amazing Arbonne as a company is! I have “met” these amazing giving and caring women who have been so supportive and gracious in helping me to get started. I am in love with the company, what is stands for and the products it makes.
Tomorrow I will be starting my 28 day detox with Arbonne. its 28 days of eating clean (which I do any way) but adding in come things such as a shake (or 2 a day) detox tea, fit chews to curb hunger mid-afternoon, fizz sticks to get over that slump, and fiber. I have been researching all of these shake recipes and found my favorite.
I am so greatful for the oppertunty that Arbonne has already presented me with and look forward to the weeks ahead and all that they hold. I have made a HUGE decision to promote my first month to the first level of District Manager! I can do it! It will take lots of hard work and putting myself out there but I believe in myself and others believe in me!
Ill make this brief since I am running on empty (literally and figuratively) Tomorrow I have my first crafts fair!!!! Yehaw!!! I spent HOURS sewing and preparing today and I am as ready as I will ever be. I am armed with all my bags and bibs, snacks, a few good books (the cowgirl is so generously lending me a few of her teenybopper books 🙂
Those are some of the flower clutches I worked on today! Fun and sassy (kind of like me)
Have a great night and weekend! XO -Dom
I started this blog a few hours ago, but got caught up at work and could not finish. So here I am again! Yesterday was my Sunday Funday. It was also creative day. My cowboy built a stand for me to display my purses on at local craft fairs. Then off we went to Home Depot to by paint, PINK paint. Cowboy Andrew merely rolled his eyes at me. It is a good pink though dont you think?
To day even though I was working I scooped up my client and went to my favorite beach at Port San Luis to see the sea lions 🙂 They are so funny to watch
Though today’s post does not involve sewing or the Sew U’Nique Shop directly it does in some strange way account for my inspiration. I have reciently started running, slowly and not very far, but a 6 days a week I get out there and run. I have come to enjoy running and it has become my think time. As I jog along listening to my MP3 player I dream of new and exciting designs and how to make my business more effective and fun.
Wishing I could sew the day away and work on a few custom orders, but today between hydrating, resting, and working on homework I have all I can do. I woke up feeling crummy. Today I feel as though I am a tortoise moving up hill through molasses in the winter! Funny image but it explains my day thus far.
No matter your job, it seems we all desire to create something–for some it may be a new floor plan, for others a cover letter, and for yet others to create a new style of car or design a new clothing line. No matter what you are called to create and make in your life DO IT!!! You will be happier! XO-Dom
Yesterday was my day off to sew, well life through me a few loops and I was only able to sew for a few hours in the morning. As I was leaving the house in a rush to help my boyfriend jump start his truck (He was stranded on a job site) I quickly packed up my machine and some fabric.
Good thing I had brought everything with me, because around 7pm last night I got a creative urge and sat down to create an IPad case! It was SO MUCH FUN! Reiterated why I have started this business, for the fun and creative license I have 😀
Here are some photos of it in progress I have a few other designs in mind, but the IPad case is now for sale in the Sew U’Nique Shop for $25.00. I am still coming up with a sassy name for if so if you have ideas let me know. XO -DOm
