Firday Night Sugar High

I am flying solo this weekend (The cowboy is out of town for work) I picked up the little cowgirl and her friend from school and brought them home for a sleep over. (It was not really my choice and I was coming down in a major cold, but I put my best foot forward and rolled with the punches.)

The girls decided to walk to the grocery store and spend their savings on CANDY! $20.00 worth of pure sugar and food coloring as a matter of fact. Had I known what they would be buy, I would have encouraged healthier choices.

I had to get picture proof to send to the cowboy and warn him of the night I had ahead of me….

He was SHOCKED they spent much, not necessarily the quantity! Made me laugh. Well my night was not so bad. They went to bed around midnight and were up by 9am eating candy in the living room. I opened the fridge this morning to get the milk out for my cereal and I was confronted with half eaten bowls of candy (We are keeping all sugary food in the fridge to ward off ants.) and I died laughing.
